Monthly Golf Tips by the Mel Sole Golf School.

This month's golf tip follows up from the monthly one in March.  I introduced the Power Chute and said that I would practice with this product for a month.  And get back to you with the results.  Well, Corona 19 came along and disrupted everything!

Watch as I explain how my golf swing has definitely benefitted from working with the Power Chute.  I expect even better things in the future!

Biggest Benefit.

The biggest benefit I personally got out of working with this was a feeling I have been looking for in my golf swing for quite a while.  As an instructor, I know if I want to hit the ball further, I need to start my downswing with a strong weight shift and fast body rotation.  This product gives me this and more.  When I swing this five to ten times, three times a week, it gives me the feeling I have been missing for so long!

Distance Increase with the Irons.

After working with the Power Chute for two months, I went out to play.   I noticed I was hitting my irons about 10 yards further.  During the first round, I noticed it. I was taking my usual club, but finishing either at the back of the green or sometimes over the green.  I am thrilled.

Distance Increase with the Woods.

The distance from the woods took a little longer.  I don't know if because I was hitting my irons further without even trying.  I started to swing too hard with my woods, and I lost my timing.  A couple of weeks ago, I played with my assistant David Olberding and a couple of students/friends at Caledonia Golf and Fish Club.  On the 11th hole, I hit a good drive.  I mentioned to David that that was the first time I had hit the ball in the middle of the clubface all day.  That drive went 277 yards.  About 30 yards further than my current distance.  Needless to say, I am working even harder with this training aid!
