If you have a fairly steep uphill before the green, the last thing you want to do is take your lob wedge or sand wedge and try to pitch it. If your mishit is just slightly, the ball is likely to roll all the way back down to your feet! When I play with friends or club members, I will often see the incorrect selection of clubs for the problem. Mark Wood, from the Mark Wood Golf Academy, explains that the correct shot is a hybrid chip, which will eliminate many poor shots by just implementing a longer putting stroke!
