Gary Player said, "Luck is a state of mind. If you think you are lucky, then you will be!" The other saying attributed to him was, "The harder I practice, the luckier I get!" As golfers, I think we tend to remember the bad breaks we got in a round of golf but forget the good bounces. I once asked a student who told me he was one of the unluckiest golfers on the planet. He always got bad bounces. I told him to write down his good breaks and bad ones during his next round. He found that he had more good breaks than bad! It changed his whole attitude to the game!
