Today we discuss using the teeing ground to the fullest extent allowed by the rules.  Take advantage of teeing the ball to the correct side to give a better angle into the green and tee the ball towards the back of the teeing ground, preventing that "in-between shot" we sometimes have.

The legal tee Box is between the makers and two club-lengths back.  The longest club is the driver.  Make sure you use that to get the full advantage if you need it. Two club lengths is about 3 yards.  Enough to change between club distances to a correct distance. The area of a tee box is the with of the tee markers and two club-lengths back.  About 3 yards back.  So tee the ball up, so you hit a full shot and hit away from the trouble.  Now you have the right club, and you have minimized your possibility of error.  This is the type of course management that will make you score a lot better during a round!
