Today I will discuss how by using a scorecard, you can eliminate pushing or pulling putts!

On the putting green, get into your normal putting posture.  Place a scorecard on the grip's right-hand side, making sure the scorecard is square to the putter's face.  When you take your stroke, you will see the card's top side if the putter's face closes.  If your clubface opens, you will see the bottom side of the card. If you can only see the top edge of the card, you know for sure that you have kept your putter face perfectly square through impact and beyond.

This is a drill you can do at home on your carpet.  It does work better if you are actually hitting putts. A putting mat at home will work wonders with this drill.  Get into the habit of holding your follow-through so you can check the angle of the scorecard.  It is mimicking the angle of the putter's face.  Do this drill until you can hit over 20 putts with the putter face staying square 100% of the time!
