Our golf video blog today is about practice and how to do it correctly. Most amateurs practice what I call "the rake and hit method." Your practice must have a purpose. If you are not consciously trying to change your swing and training your body to do it correctly, you end up doing the same old, same old, every day of the year! Check out how to really improve your game with systematic practice!
Jack Nicklaus once said, "I have never hit a casual shot in my life!" That says a lot about the man. His full concentration is focused on every shot he hits, including casual games on the course and the practice range. So please do the same thing.
Before you hit a single shot on the range, decide exactly what your purpose is for that day. Then work diligently on that goal.
Always have a target. How do you know how you are doing without one.
Practice the way you play. Go through each shot on the range as if it is a shot on the course.
