Today we talk about the relationship between the grip and the clubface.  By understanding what type of grip you have, weak, neutral, or strong, you can improve your ball flight with a simple change.  Check this out!

Strong grip - Cupped Wrist at the Top.

A slightly strong grip is when you can see more than two knuckles looking down at the top hand.  You will also have a slight cup in the upper hand.  If this is the case, then at the top of the backswing, the wrist must also be cupped to keep the clubface square at the top of the backswing, downswing, and impact!

Neutral Grip - Flat Wrist at the Top.

A neutral grip is when you can see one knuckle looking down at the top hand. The wrist of the top hand will be flat.  If this is the case, the wrist must be flat at the top of the backswing, downswing, and impact for straighter shots.
