Rory McIlroy was the world #1 in the Official World Golf Rankings for 95 weeks and is a 4 time Major Championship winner. Most people I talk to say, "He has such natural talent!" The saying that comes to mind when I hear that is Gary Players famous remark, "The harder I practice, the luckier I get" The hard work and dedication to get to #1 in anything has to have complete dedication, focus, and single-mindedness to get to a point when you can say "I wonder who is going to finish second today!"
