This week's theme is "accuracy," and I talk about the one critical move to attain consistent accuracy in your game. I call it "release down the line," and with a little bit of practice with the aid of an alignment stick, you can accomplish this!

Definition of Practice.
Focused repetition with Feedback! You are not going to ingrain anything without repetition, and you are certainly not going to do that repetition correctly without feedback!
What is Feedback?
Feedback uses any teaching aid or device that tells you the moment you have not made your motion correctly!
Accuracy.
To be accurate, you have to keep the clubhead moving down the line. How do you do that? With an alignment stick!
The Method.
Place the alignment stick about 3 feet in front of you and right on your toe line. Practice hitting short shots and not hit the alignment stick. If you struggle to do this, don't be afraid to exaggerate. This is a conscious movement. The body is not going to do it automatically just because you are thinking about it! And of course, when the ball is there, the body will try and return to its comfort zone!
