Follow along with this video to learn how to practice your sand shots without a sand trap!  Brilliant!

What you need.

A small practice mat about 24" by 24"  Some Almost Golf Practice Balls are made of cork and will not break windows and cars, and about 1/2 gallon of sand.

Execution.

Place the 1/2 gallon of sand on the practice mat and smooth it out to form a surface of about 1 foot round and about 2 to 3 inches deep.  Have a target (a bucket or basket) about 20 to 30 feet away.  Step in and play the shot hitting 2 inches behind the ball.  Adjust your swing strength based on how far the ball flew until you can control your distance out of your homemade "bunker."
