Hip Speed increases torso speed, torso speed increases arm speed, and arm speed increases club-head speed.  That is the sequence of motion that takes place to swing a golf club for maximum distance.  If you have tight hip flexors, I don't care how hard you try. You will not be able to create hip speed.  This important part of the golf swing is dependent on flexible tendons and muscles that make up the hip flexors.   Maryann Berry of breakingmuscle.com gives us a great workout to achieve the hip flexors we are looking for so we can hit the ball further!

The kneeling groin stretch, also known as the Sampson stretch, is a great way to stretch the hip flexors. You might think you know this stretch, but with a little fine-tuning, you can take this one to a whole new level. Just follow these steps and feel the difference for yourself
