Everyone knows that stretching is critical to performing the correct moves and sequence in the golf swing.  However, not everyone actually does any stretching!  Here is one simple stretch using a Swiss Ball (you can purchase one at Walmart) to improve the coil and shoulder turn.  Thanks to Brett Cook from Keiser University CollegeofGolf for sharing this video!

The average golfer tends to overlook upper and lower body separation to generate power once the golfer understands that by creating a bigger separation between the hips and the shoulders, more power is generated without even trying!  There are a ton of exercises for this.  I even have some on my website.  Visit Body Separation Technical Thursday #17 to add to your repertoire.  The more you have the ability to keep the lower body stable and the upper body mobile, the more power you will generate in your golf swing!


It’s always important to warm up before any type of workout. Try these stretches to improve your flexibility and your golf game!
