The Titleist engineers explain how the dimples on a golf ball show how a golf ball flies higher and further.  They illustrate how a golf ball with no dimples will not fly very well at all.  It will travel like a knuckleball in baseball.  By using their "Iron Byron" golf swing simulator, which produces an exact swing time after time, the Titleist can experiment with various dimple configurations to design the next generation of golf balls that will fly like the wings of a dove!

What makes your golf ball go straighter and farther? Dimples of course! And in this video, Titelist designers show how important dimple technology is for improving all of our golf games.
