Work on your weaknesses.

Be honest with yourself and identify the weak spots in your game.  Taking some lessons with a reputable teaching Pro reveals what you need to work on most and how to work on it. Many golfers complain about their game but practice a) only hitting drivers because it is more fun, and b) they never quantify the results.

Most people need to spend much more time working on the short game. Challenge yourself with a contest each time you practice........... make circles with tees the ground and chip the bulls into different sized landing areas to improve poor chipping, for example.
