Can you hit a totally submerged ball?

Several years ago, I was shooting pictures for a golf instruction book I was writing (Golf Step by Step), And the photographer took some pictures with a high-speed camera of me hitting a totally submerged ball.  It was shocking how far I hit it!  About 40 yards!  So the next time your ball is slightly or partially submerged, consider playing it, as it is a spectacular shot if you pull it off.  Nobody forgets Bill Haas is hitting out of the lake to win the Tour Championship!

Sergio Garcia did not want to drop another shot on Thursday at the Honda Classic after being 4 over through 8 holes.  After hitting his drive on hole #18 into the water, he put on his rain gear and played his TOTALLY SUBMERGED ball from the drink!
