Royal County Down is one of the top 5 golf courses I have played in my life! Having played here, I can honestly attest that this is the best course on the planet! Recently Golf Digest voted it as the #1 golf course in the world. I cannot wait until the next time I go to Ireland to play this gem again. Staying at the Slieve Donard Hotel, you can literally walk out the back door and onto the golf course. The thrill of standing on the first tee to get the opportunity to play this course is the most exciting thing I have experienced in golf!
