Golden Bear.
Jack Nicklaus was born in Ohio and went to Ohio State University. He named his company Golden Bear after his high school basketball team.
14 Majors.
He surpassed Bobby Jones's 13 majors in 1980, and his major championship victories stand at 18. Three more than Tiger Woods. He continued to win on the Champions Tour and won his final event in 1984. He played his final Masters and Open Championship in 2005.
Harbour Town Golf Links.
Today Nicklaus heads one of the world's largest golf course design companies. Among his courses is Harbour Town Golf Links. He is a member of the American Society of Golf Course Architects. Nicklaus runs an event on the PGA Tour, the Memorial Tournament.
Nicklaus' books vary from instructional to autobiographical. His Golf My Way is considered one of the best instructional golf books of all time; the same name's video is the best-selling golf instructional to date.
To list all of Jack Nicklaus's accomplishments and try and fit them into a "Top 10" is a little ridiculous, but the PGA Tour has done just that. As his trophy's mounted and Major Championships accumulated, Jack stayed dedicated to his family and enjoyed his time with them. So it is not surprising that his family is in the Top 10 as well!
