Playing golf with a caddie is the ultimate golfing experience. Finally, you have someone as your "partner" in a very individual game. Sharing club selection and putting lines are just two of the things a good caddie will provide. However, trust Las Vegas to take it to another level! Here Craig Better from golfvacationinsider.com tells this new trend and where it's going.
I've been following a very important story regarding Las Vegas golf vacations.
T-Mates.
A couple years back, I read that the Rees Jones-designed Rio Secco Golf Club had put together a unique fore caddie corps called "T-Mates," described as "intensively trained" female caddies whose other assets include being "fun, outgoing, physically fit, reliable, attractive, entertaining, and supportive."
Par-Mates.
Well, about a year ago, T-Mates got some competition in the (female) form of "Par-Mates" at sister courses Bali Hai and Royal Links, and things are, um, really getting hot out there.
Warning: if you're easily offended by seeing pictures of beautiful women in short skirts, you probably shouldn't keep reading.
The Competition Heats Up!
So far, Rio Secco's response to Par-Mates has been to advise golfers that its T-Mates program is, "the only genuine female caddie program" and to "accept no imitators." Indeed, a few seconds after visiting Rio Secco's website (riosecco.net), up pops a video of blond-haired Ashley explaining that T-Mates are, "the original and best female fore caddie program."
