The breakdown of the lead wrist is one of the main causes of poor chipping.  You will either chuck the ball or blade the ball and see it go screaming across the green.  Seem familiar?  Here is the cure.  My definition of practice is "Focused Repetition with Feedback."  Focused means you will go to the range and actively focus on one aspect of your game at a time.  It would help if you repeated the action to build a habit, and Feedback is necessary to make sure you are practicing correctly.

The Wrist Tac-Tic fits your wrist quite securely and will produce a sharp clicking sound if the lead wrist cups.  This indicates that the clubhead has passed the hands.  When the clubhead passes the hands, you add a loft.  You can work with this training aid for better chipping! You will improve your technique and your consistency of hitting the ball with the same loft each time.  The loft controls the roll, so your chipping will become a whole lot more consistent!
