Today Mel Is going to discuss the putter grip evolution over the past 4 or 5 years!
1. Fat Cat.
This putter has a large flat area, and I feel this grip could be installed with the flat part on top and the side. It would give you a great feel of keeping the putter face square. Being used by Justin Rose the last time I looked.
2. SuperStroke Fatso 5.0
This putter grip really takes the small muscles of the hands out of the putting stroke. First used by K J Choi.
3. The Garsen.
A triangular putting grip places the thumb on either side of the triangle. Again, help to take the small muscles out of the putting stroke. Currently used by Henrik Stenson. He won the British Open with this grip.
4. P2.
The unique design of this grip places the putter shaft at a unique angle which forces the hands into a more upright position. Researchers say this position locks the wrist in place for a better putting stroke.
