Best Shot ever.
Next up in our series of "Best Shot Ever" presented by Golfing World is fellow South African and Masters Champion Charl Schwartzel.
Durban Country Club.
Charl hit one amazing shot at Durban Country Club, the premier golf club in South Africa. Charl pulled his drive well left, the ball finishing on the cart path. There was no way he could not see the green from where he was. He had no real reference point to aim at.
He took a 5 iron and blasted it off the path and over the trees! The ball almost pitched in the hole, finishing a mere 3 feet from the pin.
And to everyone's disbelief, he missed the putt. I noticed him look up sharply at the gallery, so maybe someone said something as he hit his putt. Nonetheless, Charl says that will go down as the best shot he has ever hit!
