What is "Angle of Attack," and how do you control it?

Attack Angle is defined as the vertical (up-down) angle at which the clubhead moves at impact. Positive means hitting up on the ball, while negative means hitting down on the ball. The amount that a golfer must hit down on the ball depends on how vertical the golfer's swing is.

It is certainly crucial to hitting good iron shots.  Come in too steep and hit the ball too low, and come in too shallow. You will tend to hit behind the ball.  Using a few tees and two clubs, Matthew Connor clearly explains the importance of how the club comes into the ball!
