Alignment is one of his key factors.

In the last 12 months, Jason Day has become one of the best drivers of a golf ball on the PGA Tour.  His performance in the 2015 PGA Championship and an "almost" repeat performance in the 2016 tournament prove he can drive the ball as long and straight as anyone.  Alignment is one of his key factors.

As a golf instructor, it always amazes me how little care golfers take to align themselves correctly.  Over 50% of the golfers I teach aim incorrectly.  If you aim correctly, your body will not have to compensate to try and get the ball on back-on-line, and bad habits can develop from that.  This is not hard folks, get some alignment sticks, and learn to aim.  You won't be sorry!

His use of training aids helps build motor patterns.

Stance is so important in the golf swing and Jason Day explains how he practices a consistent base accompanied by precision alignment. He uses training aids to build motor patterns.  It is ingrained when he reaches the course.
