In our Golf Video Blog series, beginners and advanced golfers can intentionally curve the ball left or right.  This is enjoyable for both groups.  Here is a simple way that I learned from Jack Nicklaus 54 years ago.

To hit a draw, aim the body to where you want the ball to start and aim the clubface to where you want the ball to end up. Swing normally.

To hit a fade, aim the body to where you want the ball to start and aim the clubface to where you want the ball to end up.  Swing normally.

I personally don't curve the ball this way, but it how I learned to do that.  Now, I aim to the right, make my grip slightly stronger, and swing out more.  This produces a draw.

If I hit a fade, I am left, weaken my grip slightly and try and hold the clubface square through the ball with a slightly out to in swing.  A different technique, same result.  Try both and see which one you prefer.
