Today our guest is Jason Glass, one of the best physical trainers around.  I had the pleasure of meeting Jason at a “Top 100 Teachers” seminar just before the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando.  Very interesting man.  You can learn a lot from him!

Body rotation is the most sought after move in the golf swing.  I work with a personal trainer to try and improve my rotational and explosive power.  Every senior golfer I have ever taught says the same thing “How do I get more distance?”  And I’m sorry to say unless you prepare to work hard on both your body and your golf game, you are never going to get it. 

I recently asked my yoga teacher, “Will I ever get as flexible as you?” (remember I am 70) and her answer was not what I wanted to hear “That ship has sailed.”  Now I could sit back and say I have no chance OR do what I decided to do.  Hire a personal trainer, tell her exactly what my goals were, and asked her to work me as hard as is necessary to reach those goals.  I think I am well on my way to achieving that!  NEVER GIVE UP!
