Career Grand Slam and 11 Majors earns only $200,000?

Louise  Suggs and the famous Babe Zaharias and Patty Berg created the Ladies Pro Tour in 1950.  In those early years, these talented golfers sometimes had to climb onto tractors to divide fairway from rough, they set pin positions for each day's round and they had to woo the media to get attention for their tour.  Louise Suggs  passed away last year at 91 years.  Her life story is amazing. Why is the World Golf Hall of Fame in Florida? Lets move it here!

How many more visitors would the WGHOF get if it was in St. Andrews?  And if we had the induction ceremonies during the Open Championship, every two years, when it is in Scotland, you would get a lot more PGA Tour and European Tour players attending the event. Photo Shoot with Paula Creamer. Oh so Beautiful!

Paula Creamer has won 10 times on the LPGA Tour, one being the US Open in 2010. She also had a spectacular amateur career before turning Pro in 2005.  She won 19 National tournaments and was voted "Player of the year" by the AJGA in 2003.  She has won another 2 tournaments  outside of the USA.  Her conduct both on and off the course has always been exemplary, and she is a darling with the crowds!  This photo shoot for Golfweek gives a little insight into this popular (and good looking) star!

PGA vs LPGA! Check out this very cool idea!

Popular LPGA player Sandra Gal wrote an interesting story for USA TODAY Sports last week. Sandra says that there is still a long way to go before there is equality in the women's and men's professional tours.

One way to generate similar excitement for the women's tour is to always schedule the majors back to back and at the same venue, as the men's majors. This happened for the first time at the US Open in 2014 and gained positive feedback, but . . .
