Lie Angle.

How the club sits on the ground ( or the lie angle) at the address is not that important.  How the club sits at impact is!  However, you need the bottom of the club to be perfectly flat through impact.  This is because, to keep the club moving through the turf without unnecessary twisting, the heel and the toe need to be level.  Piers Ward and Andy Proudman from meandmygolf.com   explain "Dynamic Fitting."  To have the club in motion while measuring the bottom of your swing is essential for a correct fit.
