Today our guest is Mike of Hansen of Fitness for Golf at Dove Canyon Country Club.  For those of you who work out in a gym, this is a great tutorial on using exercise equipment to get the maximum out of your workout!

Here are just a few basic exercises that you can do to improve your golf game and your overall health with the equipment at the gym. Mike touches on a few machines at Dove Canyon Country Club that are great for your golf game.

These are some of the machines you can utilize to create a great golf specific workout.

Lat Pulldown Machine.

Leg Press Machine.

Shoulder Press Machine.

Chest Press Machine.

Cable Machine.  (definitely the most versatile.)

If you are not sure how to use these machines for golf specific workouts, ask a personal trainer to give you a run through and write everything down. You might even consider using a personal trainer to get the maximum benefit from your workouts.
