If you have never been "over the pond" and played golf in Scotland or Ireland, Scotland must be first. Scotland has history, and I think every keen golfer should get to play the Old Course at St. Andrews at least once in their life. However, after playing Scotland, Ireland is my favorite place to go on a golf vacation. The golf courses are spectacular. The people of Ireland and always friendly, and I always look forward to that trip. I take groups on a golf vacation to Ireland, Scotland, and South Africa. So each destination gets my attention every third year. We will be taking a tour of Ireland in August of 2015.
