An Interesting Dilemma.

I read an email that presents an interesting dilemma.  A student of mine wrote that he was going on a business trip and could only take 7 golf clubs with him due to luggage restrictions. Which clubs should he take?

I want the opinion of my readers.

My suggestion to my student was to choose 7 clubs and go and play 9 holes.  Play the next 9 with a different combination of 7.  Now see which 9 had a better score.  That's your answer.

How can you leave your Driver out?  If you are limited to 7 clubs, which wedges would you take?  I personally would take my 3 wood (I can use it both off the tee and off the fairway), my 5, 7, and 9 irons: a Sand Wedge, Lob Wedge, and putter.

Scroll down under the article to see responses from golfers who chose a wide variety of short sets.
