Not everyone can afford to play the renowned Pebble Beach, but if you get the opportunity, grab it!
Mizuno Pro-Am.
I have been fortunate enough to host three Amateurs for the Mizuno ProAm in the third week of February, following the AT&T Pebble Beach National ProAm. We get to play Pebble Beach, Spanish Bay, and Spyglass Hill. Of the 3 courses, I love playing Spyglass Hill, rated one of the toughest courses in the world from the Championship tees.
The scenery is spectacular... much more exciting to witness it 'live,' rather than on TV. Pebble Beach Golf Links hugs the rugged west coast of the USA and features wide-open views of Carmel Bay, plus it opens to the Pacific Ocean on the south side of the Monterey Penninsula. Easy to see why it is regarded as one of the most beautiful courses in the world.
Green fees are also among the highest globally, currently just over $500USD with a cart.
But if you are going to go to Pebble Beach, you might well play Spanish Bay
And Spyglass Hill as well.
But, yes, I feel it is worth putting aside some spending money for this incredible experience!
