Video Golf Coaching

Need help with your golf swing but don't have the time to come to golf school? No problem! Now with Video Golf Coaching you can bring respected golf instructor Mel Sole right into your home! Just send in one or two video clips of your swing: one shot from the front (directly face on) and one shot from behind (straight down the target line). For best results, make sure your camera is set at the highest shutter speed. Make sure you save the video in an .avi format.  Mel will watch your videos, critique your swing and add the relevant drills, then email you a username and password that you can use to login and review your Video Golf Coaching session. Video your golf swing

To video your golf swing, we ask that you: 1) Record your swing in .avi format with any video recording device that has the ability to transfer the recording to VHS tape, CD or a computer; 2) Wear well fitting clothing—baggy clothes could make it difficult to properly assess your swing mechanics. 3) Record in an area that provides a minimum of background visual distration—the clearer your video, the easier it will be to critique your swing.

Send in a copy of your video

Postal Mail: Send a Standard size VHS videotape or CD for Mel to review. (If you want the VHS tape or CD returned, please include a self-addressed, prepaid envelope.) On your tape or CD, print your name and the date of video shoot. On a separate piece of paper include your name and address, phone number and email, date of the video shoot, and a brief description of any past or present golf-related injuries. Email: To send via e-mail you need a digital video camera with the ability to download to a computer and software on your computer that will compress the video for emailing. Compress it down to less than 10 MB. P.S. Please make sure it is in an .avi format.
