Established in 1990, our Pawleys Island Golf School is hosted by Pawleys Plantation, an award-winning Jack Nicklaus Signature design set among the salt marshes and giant live oaks of the Carolina low-country in Pawleys Island, just south of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Our PGA Golf Instructors offer comprehensive golf instruction for golfers of all ages and abilities, year round.

You can stay on-site in a golf villa on a Golf School Vacation Package, or attend our Pawleys Island Golf School as a Commuter Student.

3 Day Pawleys Island Golf School — 10+ hrs of Instruction — Starts at Just $595!

3-Day Golf Schools start every Monday and Thursday, and include golf instruction on all aspects of your long and short game, utilizing the appropriate practice areas. We use the latest in computerized teaching equipment to diagnose swing problems and to monitor results. Your personal take-home drill tape or DVD is provided for follow-up practice.

Also included with the 3-Day Golf School  is a program on the mental aspects of golf, developed by one of the leading sports psychologists, which has had exciting results for our golf school students.

That’s not all… students of the 3-Day Golf School program at our Pawleys Island location also get a free clubfitting session with regular tuition rate! Mel Sole is a certified Mizuno Clubfitter. Even after golf school is over, you can continue to lower your scores, gain more distance and hit the ball straighter simply by playing with clubs that fit your “swing DNA.” Learn more about clubfitting in Pawleys Island.

Each morning at our Pawleys Island Golf School, golf instruction takes place at the practice center from 9am to 12:30pm. The afternoon is your free time to play, practice your drills, do some sightseeing in Myrtle Beach and Pawleys Island, or just relax at Pawleys Plantation. If you’re unable to attend a morning class, we can schedule your instruction from 1:30pm to 5pm, subject to availability.

On-course, 9-hole playing lessons can also be arranged in the afternoons (additional fees apply.) 1- and 2-day golf schools and private lessons are booked, subject to availability. Alumni programs for 3-Day Golf School graduates feature 2 half-days at our learning center plus a 9-hole playing lesson one afternoon.
