México Golf School – Rates & Schedules

Our Malinalco, México golf school location operates from Friday December 21st, 2012 to Sunday January 6th, 2013.

Mel Sole offers the following instructional programs every week from Tuesday through Sunday:

  • Program 1 Full swing (woods, irons & driver) – Tuesday through Sunday, 9am – 12pm
  • Program 2 Chipping & putting – Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, 1pm – 4pm
  • Program 3 Pitching & bunkers – Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, 1pm – 4pm

Special program rates:

  • Choose any 1 program for $200 (USD)
  • Choose 2 programs for $360 (USD)
  • Choose 3 programs for $485 (USD)
  • Choose 4 programs for $575 (USD)

Added Value! Book a foursome for 3 or more programs, each of you will save $100 off tuition! This offer is good year round. No other discounts apply.

It is not necessary to take clinics on consecutive days. Mel will also teach one-hour private lessons when the schedule permits for $100 (USD). Reservations for 1 hour lessons are taken only 24 hours in advance.

Members of Club de Golf Malinalco receive a reduced rate for all programs, call the club for details.

To confirm any lesson, it is necessary that you pay the golf club by credit card (Discover, Visa, MasterCard; no Amex) when you book your lesson, otherwise we cannot reserve Mel’s time, but you are welcome to check with us for last minute availability. All instruction includes extensive video taping which is burned onto a CD with voice-over by Mel Sole so you can review your lessons and drills when you are at home. Accommodations are available on-site. Fairway villas with one king bed or 2 twin beds, and private bath, are available for $120 per night (total) for school students.

Green Fees are available during all week for $US50. Caddies are also $US40.

Transportation from México City airport can be arranged by the golf club, with advance notice. Cost: $50 per person, each way ($100 per person, round trip).

When to Book: As early as possible. Due to high demand for prime season dates and for Mel Sole as instructor, we recommend booking 60 to 90 days prior to your desired date. There will be very limited, if any, availability within 30 days of school starting dates.

Cancellation policy:

With 2 weeks or more notice, a $100 fee applies to commuter school cancellations, and a $200 fee applies to a golf school package cancellation.

If cancellation notice is given within 2 weeks of school start date, there is no refund.

POSTPONE your date if an emergency arises for only a $25 administrative fee, and your golf school credit is valid for 3 years from date of postponement.

The Ritson-Sole School reserves the right to cancel/reschedule programs in rare and unusual circumstances, and is not responsible for any inconvenience or loss incurred as a result – full fees would be refundable or transferable to another date and/or school of your choice, subject to availability.

Golf School Gift Certificates are instruction redeemable only and have no cash value.

Rain Policy: Any school time missed due to weather will be rescheduled in the future, subject to availability. There is no monetary refund.
