Established in 1990, our Myrtle Beach area golf school is for golfers of all ages and abilities, and operates year round. Our host golf course is Pawleys Plantation, an award-winning Jack Nicklaus Signature design, set among the salt marshes and giant live oaks of the Carolina low-country in Pawleys Island.
You can stay on-site on a golf school package, or attend school as a "commuter" student.
3-day golf schools start every Monday and Thursday, and include instruction on all aspects of your long and short game, utilizing the appropriate practice areas.
Included with the 3-day schools is a program on the mental aspects of golf, developed by one of the leading sports psychologists, which has had exciting results for our students. We use the latest in computerized teaching equipment to diagnose swing problems and to monitor results. Your personal take-home drill tape or DVD is provided for follow-up practice. Each morning instruction takes place at the practice center from 9am to 12:30pm. The afternoon is your free time to play, practice your drills, sightsee, or just relax. If you're unable to attend a morning class, we can schedule your instruction from 1:30pm to 5pm, subject to availability.
On-course, 9-hole playing lessons can also be arranged in the afternoons - additional fees apply.
1- and 2-day schools and private lessons are booked, subject to availability.
Alumni programs for 3-day school graduates feature 2 half-days at our learning center plus a 9-hole playing lesson one afternoon.
Maximum class size is 4 students per Instructor - never more than 4!
