Two Easy Warm-ups for the First Tee!

Two Easy Warm-ups for the First Tee!

Today our guest is Daniel Remon from and Aspire Club. This is for those of you who don’t have a lot of time to warm up either before the round or on the range.  Two quick and easy stretches that can be done on the first tee just before your round.

Lat Stretch:

Get into a kneeling position and hold a golf club (like a driver) over your head with your arms extended fully upwards. Keep your hands behind your ears.  Rotate towards the same side as the front knee. Hold for 5 seconds and then repeat on the other side.  Two or three reps should do it!

Arm Rotations:

Hold the golf club with both arms fully extended in front of you.  Now rotate your arms right over left and then left over right. Slowly increase the speed until the shoulders feel completely loose!

These are two fairly simple exercises that will make a big difference to your torso and shoulder flexibility without hitting balls before you tee off!  Try it!
