So far, we have seen Jack Nicklaus, Suzann Pettersen, Lexi Thompson, and Charl Schwartzel describe the best shot of their career.

Now for #5 in our series "My Best Shot" brought to you by Golfing World.

Englishman Oliver Wilson talks us through his career-defining addition to our My Best Shot series, which unsurprisingly comes from his recent victory at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.

Standing in the middle of the 16th fairway at the Old Course at St Andrews, Oliver had a 2 shot lead.  For someone who had never won on the Europen Tour this was still a terrifying position.  Two shots can dissapear in the blink of an eye.

The Shot required a 3 iron, a club that Oliver did not carry in his bag. So, he had a decision to make.  Either a soft 2 iron or a hard 4 iron.  His caddie John Dempster knew that long was the killer, so they opted for a hrad 4, knowing if it came up short they would have an easy up and down.  Oliver hit a hard, low 4 iron that never left the flag and stopped a mere 4 feet away.  He holed that , had a 3 shot lead and had 2 pars in for the victory!
