Feel is not something someone can teach you.  Feel is something you develop.

How to develop feel outdoors.

If you are outdoors, take a scorecard and place it about 3 feet onto the putting surface.  Take a tee and push it through the middle to keep it from blowing away.  Figure out the airtime/ground time ratio of the chip.  If it is 1/4 - 3/4, then you will chip with a 6 iron.  If it is 1/3 - 2/3, then it is an 8 iron, and if it is 1/2 - 1/2, then it is a pitching wedge.  These clubs are for a normal-paced level green.  I call a normal paced green around a 10 on the stimpmeter. You would adjust either up or down a club for slope and speed.

Now go ahead and do your practice swings for your chip, looking at the scorecard the whole time.  This is now training your subconscious the same way as a basketball player practices shooting hoops.  He looks at the rim and shoots.  If the shot is too hard, the next one is softer.  If the shot is too soft, the next one is harder.  Keep making your backswing adjustment longer or shorter until you can consistently land the ball on the scorecard.

How to develop feel in your living room.

The skill in chipping is the ability to land the ball on the right spot.  So you don't need a green, you don't even need a golf course.  Purchase a chipping mat or use a small piece of carpet to chip off, then place a coin where you want to land the ball.  Now go ahead and practice your chipping, looking at the coin when you do your practice swings.  Place a pillow beyond the landing spot for the ball to roll into so you cannot crash into the furniture.

Once you can land the ball on the coin, head to the golf course.  Your chipping will have improved.  You have now developed the feeling of landing the ball on the correct spot.
