Each week I present a Golf Rules Quiz to my viewers to learn the rules and indirectly lower their scores. Knowing the rules, or not knowing the rules, can make a huge difference in the outcome of a match or tournament. My motto has always been "Know the rules, lower your scores." I hope you enjoy this week's golf rules quiz.
Last Weeks Rules Quiz and Winner.
Last week I posted this question. If a player hits the ball into a hazard and drops the ball under the rules but cannot see the exact point of entry from his drop position, can he use a towel to indicate his line of play? The answer is Yes, he can. He uses the towel to indicate the point of entry where the ball last crossed the margin of the hazard and not using it to indicate the line of play. This was tough, and everyone who sent in their answers jumped on the "line of play" wagon, so there is no winner this week. Sorry folks try again this week.
This week's Quiz.
Player C and Player D are playing players A and B. Players C and D share a caddie. The caddie accidentally moves player A's ball. Is there a penalty, and if so, how many shots and who incurs the penalty?
